As the crisis of capitalism heightens, youth and working people around the world crave a radical political alternative.
Movements forming around the election of Jeremy Corbyn as the Leader of the Labour Party in the UK and Bernie Sanders in the United States show that Socialist ideas are making a come back. But mass movements channelled through reformist parties quickly come face-to-face with the reality that it is impossible to reform capitalism, as Syriza showed in Greece this summer.
Youth and workers will need to be armed with Marxist ideas for the struggles to come. With this in mind, we announce the 6th annual Northeast Marxist Winter School in Montreal this coming February! This will be a perfect opportunity to meet and learn with revolutionaries from all over North-eastern Canada and the United States.
Last year we had a record attendance of 85 people and this year we are aiming to have over 100 attendees!
